Is Your Life on Hold Too?
14 Nisan 2025Let’s say you’ve lost control of your life and don’t know what to do. You can’t even figure out where to take the first step. So, where do you start?
Actually, the very first and most important thing you need to do, in my opinion and based on my own experience, is to regulate your hormones. For this, you especially need to review your eating habits and sleep routine. Because when our thought system breaks down — and this is truly a very critical point — everything else begins to feel heavier.
If possible, seek support from an endocrinologist, have your hormones checked. If something is off, recognizing it and making changes is extremely important.
After that — and I believe this is also very critical — try to move. It may be hard at first, but walking or doing small physical activities will do you a lot of good.
Conversations with your women friends are invaluable. Especially reach out to one or two close women friends and openly tell them that you’re struggling to take action. Ask them to motivate you, to support you. So that when you can’t push yourself, that friend can say, “Come on, we’re going for a walk,” or “Today we’re going to the doctor.”
And start everything with small steps. Without forcing yourself… step by step.
Get yourself a pen and a notebook. Write down what’s going wrong in your life. Write down what’s right too — whatever makes you happy or challenges you, note it all. Try to see everything clearly. And most importantly, be honest with yourself.
When you are honest, when you recognize what’s right and wrong, and when you have support, you’ll see that taking action becomes much easier.
And remember: You can achieve big things with small steps when it comes to taking control of your life again.
